….i started because:
- I needed more adult conversation
- I wanted something of my own
- And I knew I wasn’t ready to just wind down and coast.

What I didn’t expect…

Was how many people are quietly doing the same thing
Working online
Creating income
Living life a bit more on their terms.

Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

At my age of course I’ve been employed, spent many years bending to conform, starting early, finishing late with no extra thanks or reward. Watching people come and go as they moved on to bigger things.

I’ve owned front shop businesses, been there to open and close, start early, finish late to make it easier on my employees. Earning to..
pay staff,
pay rent,
pay GST,
pay insurances
and have minimal left and usually to put back into the business.

Funnily, when I finished work is when I discovered Online Affiliate Marketing..

No shop front
No wages to pay
No business insurance
No racing to the office to open up or close…

Hours on my terms, more or less, depending how much I wanted to do.
A business structure that helps me,
A community of people that want nothing but success for you,
A product that aligns with my health and wellness views,
And a business opportunity that happy to share.

Building a life we both deserve

There’s a saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.. but sometimes I think… maybe it is a little bit broken?

Turning up day after day, Spending hours getting to and from work,
Scoffing lunch in 30 minutes,
AND doing it all until 67…hoping it’s enough.

For a long time, that just felt like “the way it is”

But sometimes life nudges you to look outside the norm.

I chose to finish work at 60 so I could be there for my grandies…and I wouldn’t change that for a second. But losing that extra income (and little luxuries that come with it) was definitely an adjustment.

So I started thinking a little differently.. and went looking for a different way.

These days I’ve got something that fits around my life instead of the other way around - working from home,
No commuting,
Long lunches when I feel like it,
More time with hubby on the farm,
And still having those little extras.

Not fancy, just something that works for ME.

I guess it comes down to this- keep doing what you’ve always done…
Or stay open to finding something that adds a bit more ease (and maybe a few extras) along the way.

…..are both the same, always changing, always throwing up different challenges, experiences and emotions.

I would say I’ve had 4 seasons or chapters in my life, each taught me lessons I’ve taken into my next season.

The common denominator I’ve realised if FEAR,
Fear I would never find love and have kids…overcome

Fear I would not be able to raise my girls right… overcome

Fear of leaving an unhappy marriage….overcome

Fear of starting over and believing in myself and capabilities…overcome.

Fear is trusting in yourself to make the right decision and the that it could just work out.
