QHHT differs from traditional Hypnotherapy in that it utilizes a deeper level of the trance state. Most hypnotherapists prefer to work in the Alpha level brainwaves which is a lighter level of trance, QHHT practitioners however, prefer to delve into the Theta or somnambulistic level where the key information about past lives, universal mysteries and spiritual state can be explored and healing can occur. We all enter the Theta state twice a day - just before falling asleep and just before waking, so it must be noted that this is a normal state for our bodies and part of our lives. We drop in and out of Alpha constantly throughout everyday just by closing our eyes. So it is safe to say that we all spend a majority of our day in a state of hypnosis!
