Finished my first Tai Chi Gong recently. Which is 100 consecutive days of Tai Chi. Minimum 20 minutes per day for me.
What i took from this is -
Discipline to a certain self care practice is True Self Love. Taking the time to fill your own cup so there is overflow to share with others is vital.
Tai Chi is gentle rhythmic movement coupled with the breath - the breath leads the movement, the slower the better. I found every time after my practice I would feel way more calm, grounded, centred & present.
I found the body will often shake & release areas where the energy is blocked or not flowing. The intelligence & wisdom of our bodies are amazing when we create the right conditions and allow.
I feel nervous system regulation is crucial for optimal health, if were always in fight/flight were just burning ourselves out. I know this first hand. Gentle calming, energising practices like this are gold for the nervous system.
Movement, breath, meditation, barefoot in Nature are a must in this fast paced time were in.
