On Friday the 27th of June, Berlasco residents and staff celebrated a BBQ Day. Thanks to everyone who came along and enjoyed each other's company. A special thanks to Chef and Terry for their efforts in cooking and serving.

March 25th marked the day of Greek Independence. Our lovely residents, with the help of Lifestyle team member, Katina Karas, got together to celebrate with some Greek Cooking. Spanakopita. Meaning a Spinach Pie. Features Spinach and Feta cheese, wrapped in a Filo pastry. A delicious treat enjoyed by many people around the world.

Dear Residents and Families,

We hope this message finds you well. As you are aware, Cyclone Alfred is currently approaching our region, and we want to reassure you that Berlasco Court is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents during this time.

In response to the cyclone, we have increased our team cover to ensure that there are enough staff members available around the clock. This will enable us to provide continuous support and care to our residents, should the weather conditions worsen.

Additionally, we have proactively ordered extra food, water, and medication supplies to ensure that we are fully prepared in the event of any disruptions to services. Our priority is to ensure that all residents have access to the care, comfort, and nourishment they need throughout the cyclone.

We have also tested our generators and all functional components of our emergency systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition. This will allow us to continue providing essential services in the event of power outages or other disruptions.

We understand that this situation may be unsettling, and we want to assure you that we are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to take appropriate actions to keep everyone safe. Our team is trained and equipped to handle all aspects of emergency care, and we are committed to providing the highest level of support throughout this event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will keep you updated with any further developments as the situation unfolds.

🎅🎄 What perfect weather we had for the Berlasco Aged Care Christmas Parties this week! We welcomed over 160 residents and guests to join in the festivities. Congratulations to our catering teams for creating such a festive and delicious party menu and to the Lifestyle and MSU team for planning, organising and setting up the 2 days of festivities.
Fire and Rain performed beautiful music and had everyone joining in the singing and dancing. And what is Christmas without a visit from Santa! Merry Christmas from Berlasco Aged Care. 🎄🎅

🌟🌟 STAFF APPRECIATION POST🌟🌟
Today will held our monthly Resident and Representative meeting where our Manager Immanuel presented two very special certificates to two of our very special staff members, Maxine and Diana. They both received their 10 year service award. We thank you, incredible ladies, for all your dedication and hard work. You both go above and beyond, and we appreciate you both!
