We hope you are having an awesome start to the week! 😎

We finally got our first batch of lenses for the week late this afternoon, and true to form Gene started fitting as much as he could. 👓

He managed to pump out 7 pairs of lenses in an hour and a half to ensure he got the oldest orders done on time and in the post by 5.00pm! 🕶️

We Pride ourselves on having great customer service and do whatever we can to make sure our customers get their glasses back in a timely manner. Of course the turn-around time varies depending on your style of frame, type of lenses and coatings and of course your prescription requirements. 🥸

Gene always gets the oldest orders completed the same day the lenses arrive. He will complete all the fitting if he has time, otherwise the newest orders get completed after hours and are ready for shipping the next day! 👓

How do we offer such great service? Simply, we have our own fitting lab and buy Australian made products and Australian sourced products. We also use local services for special frame fitting, lens options and high prescription requirements! 100% Australian! 🕶️

👉🏼 If you want to make a claim, contact us first, and we can confirm with you before placing an order!

👉🏼 If you proceed with an order, please leave a message during checkout or via email that you require a health fund invoice and tell us who it is, as we have different numbers for different health funds. - We will make the invoice with all the appropriate item codes, etc, and forward it to you, to make your claim with your health fund.

👉🏼 The order confirmations you receive via our site do not have the item codes relevant to your order. We need to make up an invoice manually!

As optical lens suppliers, it’s up to Gene our optical mechanic/tecnician to decipher the prescription details sent to us, to ensure we supply you with the correct replacement lenses. 👓

We got sent this prescription today. For those in the know, you are not meant to write a symbol next to: 0.00 otherwise known as Plano, which means no prescription. 🕶️

We often come across mistakes like this. It makes me proud that we not only have a dispensing technician/mechanic with dispensing and lens fitting knowledge, but also someone with lens manufacturing knowledge, which means all mistakes can be seen and clarified if required. 🥸

We take pride in what we do, from start to finish. Rest assured if something isn’t right, we will get to the bottom of things. 👓

Hey everyone,

We hope you are well and have had a great start to the week.

Gene often gets asked to create a new lens shape based on a card board mock-up attached to an existing pair of lenses. 🤓

A customer sent this cardboard template in and it was up to Gene to design an actual lens template based on the idea sent in with the frame. 😎

As you can tell, the shape was requested to replace the sharp square shape of the existing lens and turn it into a rounded shape. 🥸

The template is then sent to our lens manufacturer in Brisbane to make and fit the lenses as we do not have a rim-less fitting machine on-site. 🤓

This is the lengths Gene will go to assist our customers and it makes me so proud and happy to have such a highly skilled, customer focused dispensing technician/mecanic onboard. We would not have the return customers or great outcomes that we do. 😎

We wanted to share this awesome antique frame with you. It has been sent to Gene to replace the lenses in them. The frame is ultra delicate and will definitely keep Gene on his toes. We have noticed that one of the arms has been welded together, so that is one important aspect to keep an eye on. 🥸

It reminds us of when Gene was sent a damaged antique frame which was able to be evened out and have replacement lenses put in them. 🥸
