I honestly can’t believe it’s Summer next week - yes because of this Victorian weather 🌧️ but also because of how fast the seasons are flying by. Do you feel the same?

Unlike Winter, which can sometimes feel heavy or inward, Spring is often welcomed with open arms.

In last weekend’s workshop, we explored not only how to embrace Spring, but how to embody its qualities.

We brought consciousness to breath, movement to our bodies. We softened into yin shapes and awakened vibration through chanting. We released and reflected, and set fresh intentions for the new energy of Spring. Each person was also nurtured by the healing touch of massage, and we closed with deep rest in Yoga Nidra.

~ Spring is rebirth.
Within the energy of rebirth lies a beautiful opportunity to set intentions for what we wish to see “spring forth” in our own lives.

~ Our collective intention:
“I shift beautifully into the season of rebirth. I move forward with clarity, courage, and love.”

To align with this energy, we worked with three energetic centres:
🔥 manipura chakra (solar plexus): courage and the fire to act
👁️ ajna chakra (third eye): clarity and wisdom to guide the action
💚 anahata chakra (heart): compassion and love, the feeling behind the action

Thank you to everyone who shared this offering with us. and I feel truly honoured to have guided you through this exploration of what it means to both embrace and embody the season of Spring 🪷

Happy Spring Equinox! 🌸

On Tuesdays this year I’ve been soaking up precious time with my youngest before she starts school next year. These little preschool days feel so fleeting.

Today, the Earth stands in balance - sun and moon, day and night, light and dark.

We marked the moment simply: a swim at the beach, collecting treasures for an altar my daughter created from her special trinkets (yes, including a Christmas tree globe 🫶… photo 4).

After dinner we shared a family ceremony, offering gratitude for winter, hopes for spring, and finishing with a candle blessing: “We welcome the light and thank the dark. Both help us grow.”

Enjoy the growing light and warmth ahead 🌞
