And with a new beginning comes a new name.

Welcome to…

S a m a
S p a c e ✨

In Sanskrit, Sama can be translated simply as balance, wholeness, unification.

My own journey has been a path towards exactly this. When I first found yoga, I was often overwhelmed. I thought it was normal to experience big emotional outbursts, especially at work.

Over time, yoga has guided me towards a place of greater ease. Not perfectly, but steadily. A continuous practice of returning to balance.

Sama Space is an extension of that intention.

A space to gather in community.
A space to be held in the practices of yoga.
A space to move, breathe, ground and restore.

Sama Space is not only Monday nights at Cape Paterson Community Hall - it’s the wider home for all that I offer. Classes, future offerings… all living under one space.

To mark this beginning, I’ve created a FREE 90-minute yoga class at Cape Paterson Community Hall on Thursday 16th April.

The yoga space at Zeal and Flow is closing its doors.

After approximately four years of running Monday night classes, next Monday 13th April, will be our last class at Zeal and Flow. If you’d like to join me for one final practice in this special space, I’d love to see you there.

It’s sad - I have loved building our Monday night community. Thankyou diana shone for creating such a beautiful space for all of us to enjoy.

But it’s also very sweet…
It holds so many memories - my time spent on Monday nights, attending other classes, running workshops, Baby & Me Yoga, my daughters enjoying the space after we popped in for a cuppa and treat at the cafe.

I’ve enjoyed being apart of the Zeal and Flow community over the years ❤️

I’ve gathered some thoughts from my Monday night regulars as I plan ahead:

“I always look forward to Monday night’s slow flow, yin, and Nidra practice. It sets me up for the week ahead and has become an important self-care habit.”

Because this practice has become such a meaningful part of our Monday evenings, the same 90-minute Slow Flow, Yin, and Yoga Nidra class will continue at the beautiful Cape Patterson Community Hall, every Monday from 6-7:30pm.

It’s now called: ‘The Essential Practice: a path to Self’ ✨
(I’ll unpack the meaning a little more down the track.)

New space. New props. New booking system.

The first class is Monday 20th April, and bookings are open now!

Practicing what I teach.

~ The Embodied Self: a journey with deities ~

Join and .yoga.fleur in an exploration of the Self through the guiding energies of Ganesha and Parvati. Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and guardian of thresholds, and Parvati, the embodiment of devotion, strength, and lived truth. This practice is an invitation to clear what stands in the way, and to gently return to the path of the embodied Self.

Through the following practices, we will evoke Ganesha’s energy to open and soften obstacles, while inviting Parvati’s presence to anchor, deepen, and support what is ready to be lived and expressed:

~ mythology/storytelling
~ mantra
~ meditation
~pranayama/breathwork
~ mudra
~ flowing asana/movement
~ yin

All are welcome. No prior experience with any of the practices is needed - just a willingness to arrive as you are.

Together we’ll embody the season of Autumn through Yoga and Zenthai Shiatsu massage.

One of my favourite elements of this immersion is working her magic through Zenthai Shiatsu.

Zenthai Shiatsu is a heart-fuelled bodywork that weaves together Zen Shiatsu, Thai Massage and Ostepathic Techniques, inviting freedom and allowing us to experience our true nature.

Over a deliciously long 3 hours, you’ll be guided through:

〰️ Yin (stillness)

All supporting a gentle shift into the rhythm of the season - moving from the season of action toward the season of softening and letting go.
