Today we celebrate one year of Julia at IHCC! 🥳
Julia joined our IHCC family as a Service Delivery Manager and has since grown into her current role as Client Relationships Manager. Over the past year, she has been an incredible asset—bringing warmth, dedication, and excellence to everything she does.

Our participants love her, our stakeholders trust her, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team. Here’s to many more milestones together, Julia! 💐💼✨

Georgin vs. The Finger Trap 🔥

Mondays in the office just got a little tenser (literally)! 😅
Who knew a tiny toy could spark such a battle of wills?
Don't worry—Georgin made it out… eventually. 🫣🤣

🌿 NAIDOC Week 2025 🌿

Ipswich Holistic Community Care respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Yugara lands, where we live, learn, and work every day.

We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, whose strength, wisdom, and continued efforts to preserve and share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures inspire us all.

This NAIDOC Week, we also want to take a moment to recognise and thank our Aboriginal participants—your stories, strength, and connection to culture enrich our community in so many ways.

Celebrating one of our incredible Directors and resident style queen, Aggie!

Throwing it back to the DAC Expo in March, where Aggie struck a pose and brought her signature class and elegance — as always. Her blend of professionalism, empathy, and leadership is the heart of everything we do at IHCC.

We’re so lucky to have you, Aggie. Thank you for being you 💙

For today’s Fashion Friday, we present these dapper gentlemen—participants James and Nick—all dressed up for their monthly dinner outing! 👔

We absolutely love the friendship these two share. 💛

James receives 24/7 support in his home, and thanks to flexible use of SIL funding, Nick stays with his mate three days a week. A great example of how support can be tailored to suit individual lifestyles and meaningful connections! 🙌

Keep up to date with the latest changes to the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme 👇

We’re gradually introducing shorter funding periods in participants' plans to help participants more easily manage their budgets.

If you’re starting a new NDIS plan or going through a reassessment, you will now have a discussion about funding periods in your plan.

The length of funding period will be based on participant’s individual circumstances and will usually be a three-month funding period.

You might be asking, how is the length of my funding period decided?

Funding periods can go for different lengths of time. For example, your plan might have funding periods of one, 3, 6 or 12 months.

The length of your funding periods will consider your individual needs and circumstances. They are also determined based on factors, such as:

✔️ the NDIS legislation

✔️ the total amount of funding in your plan

✔️ the types of costs of supports in your plan

✔️ how you have used funding in previous plans

✔️ any risks associated with you managing your funding.
