A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of running my first workshop at in collaboration with at .golfclub

We broke down the fundamentals of the golf swing, and more importantly, the body behind it. Blending theory with hands-on coaching, every attendee walked away with practical tools they can take straight into their own game.

This is what excites me most, helping golfers understand not just what to do, but why it matters.

I’m incredibly proud to be offering workshops like this, where players leave with real, usable skills and clubs add value beyond the golf course.

If this is something you’d like to bring to your club, let’s chat.

Short game isn’t about luck, it’s about control. And control is built two ways:

1. Consistent, intentional practice
2. A body that can actually deliver the movement

If you don’t have the mobility to get into good positions, or the strength to stabilise and repeat them… your feel will always be inconsistent.

This is the work that doesn’t always get attention, but it’s the work that lowers scores.

Build the body. Refine the skill. Repeat.

Shortcuts don’t disappear, they get stored in your swing.

Every compensation, every “good enough” rep, every time you avoid the hard work… your body remembers. And under pressure, it defaults back to it.

If you want a different result on the course, you need a different standard in your training.

Move better. Load better. Own every rep.

That’s how you change the pattern.

Split stance rotational kettlebell stop.

Most golfers chase speed.
The best golfers understand sequencing.

The golf swing works like a whip:
Lower body initiates → then brakes →
allowing energy to transfer up through the body and into the club.

When the lower body doesn’t decelerate,
you lose that transfer… and with it, distance.

This drill builds:
• Lower body braking capacity
• Efficient energy transfer
• Better timing through impact

Train the system, not just the output.

The Kettlebell Series.

At Golf Strength Lab, everything has intent.

Over the next series of posts, we’ll break down kettlebell variations that directly impact your swing

I’ll show you how specific kettlebell variations can:
• Build usable strength
• Improve rotational control
• Transfer directly into your golf swing

Not just coaching it… living it.

Every session, I’m chasing the same thing I ask from my clients, better movement, better sequencing, better outcomes.

I’m not there yet, and that’s the point.

This game has a way of showing you there’s always more. More to refine. More to understand. More to unlock.

I’m constantly working both sides of it. Building the body to move better, and sharpening the swing to use it.

Some days it clicks. Some days it doesn’t.
But every session is a step forward.

Always refining. Always learning. Still plenty of room to grow.

Years of knee pain.
Failed rehab.
Flare up after flare up.

This wasn’t another “generic program” situation.

We went deeper.
A full breakdown to uncover why the pain kept coming back — not just treat the symptoms.

Now?
Pain-free.
Confident.
Back building toward high loads and explosive movement.

This is what happens when your assessment actually leads the plan.
