Doctors Yuya Naing, Hana Sandrik and Harry Tun will all be available for appointments at Miranda, following our closure of Jannali on December 20th to see all their regular patients. You will also see familiar faces at reception and Soumya our nurse.

All patients who have attended Jannali within the past 12 months will be bulk-billed for visits at Miranda, as all medical records will be viewable by doctors at Miranda.

Miranda has a vast range of services including: Pharmacy, X-Ray, Pathology, Visiting Medical Specialists, Allied Health- Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physio, Dietician, Psychologists, a Skin Cancer Clinic, Covid Testing, and is importantly open 7 days a week.

Commencing from 8th March our practice will be making adjustments to our billing procedures. Since opening 15 years ago we have bulk-billed all patients for all eligible services. Given the decade long Medicare freeze this is no longer possible. However, we will continue to bulk-bill all of our regular patients for all consultations (those who have attended one of our doctors in the past 12 months).

For new and non-current patients a private fee will be charged for their first consultation at the practice, and then all other subsequent visits will be bulk-billed from then on (as long as the patient attends at least once every 12 months).

The 2022 Flu Vaccine is Now Available!!!

As is the case each year, the flu vaccine is free for anyone aged 65+, children under 5, pregnant women, and patients with certain chronic diseases. All other patients can purchase from the practice for the cost price of $15 (please bring cash).

Masks will remain compulsory within the medical centre for everyone aged 12 and above. This is necessary for the safety of all of our patients, our staff and our doctors.

If you hold a valid mask exemption (which you can show at your visit), we also require a Negative PCR Result within the past 72 hours to see a doctor for a face-to-face appointment.

Children's vaccines (ages 5 to 11) will be available from January 10. We will post a message on our page January 5 with further information and SMS parents of all our current patients in this age group as soon as we open appointments. We are just waiting for the government to confirm the number of vaccines we will be receiving.
