The cold Winter air is coming ❄️ Are you getting the most out of your asthma medicines?

Asthma reliever recommendations have recently changed. Our team can help you make sense of what these mean, and how you can best manage your asthma.

Our pharmacists can:
• Help you get the most from your asthma medicines and help ensure your asthma is kept under control
• Ensure that your inhaler/puffer technique is correct, and suggest recommendations to improve medication delivery to the lungs – which is where it counts.
• Help ensure that you are on the right medicines to control your asthma; this may involve working out your ASTHMA SCORE which helps to identify patients who may not have their asthma under control.
• Work with your doctor to develop an Asthma Action Plan to ensure that your asthma medicines match the severity of your asthma, and help stop asthma from controlling your life.

A reminder that we currently have the Intranasal Influenza vaccine available for children aged 2-17 years as a needle (& pain!) free option. The intranasal vaccine is completely free for 2-4 year old children.

We accept walk-ins 7 days a week.

🦠💉RSV VACCINE NOW AVAILABLE ON THE NIP 💉🦠

The RSV vaccine is now available on the National Immunisation Program for eligible patients. The RSV vaccine is government-funded, and there is no charge for those over 75 years of age, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people over 60 years of age.

Consider vaccination today to give yourself the best protection as we head into the cooler months. We have plenty of stock & accept walk-ins - no appointment necessary!

If you have any questions about eligibility, please reach out to one of our pharmacists for more information.

Please note- the RSV vaccine for pregnant women is still on the NIP & available free of charge also.
