A difficult health blow was delivered back in January this year… I have taken the much needed time since to quietly step away and focus on healing. Many have wondered where I have been and why; and as I prepare for my final stages of healing, I have taken the time to share more about that journey and the road ahead on the Radiant Chi blog page.
I appreciate all the love and support from all those in this special community whilst I have been absent 💖 As I make my way through the final steps of healing privately, I look forward to returning to supporting your wellbeing in 2026.
Love and blessings, Nat ❤️🤗

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has each season connected to certain elements, organs, emotions, and qualities.
These associations guide us in two ways: they show us how to nourish ourselves in harmony with the season, and they also help TCM practitioners diagnose imbalance when signs and symptoms arise.
For Spring, we look to the Liver and Gallbladder, the Wood element, and the energy of growth and renewal, offering insight into health 🌱

🌿 Watercress is a Spring green that supports the Liver, clears heat, and refreshes the body. In TCM, its light, peppery nature helps move Qi and awaken energy, a simple way to align with the season ✨

In TCM, Spring is the season of Wind, which often shows up as allergies, hay fever, itchy eyes, or sneezing.
When our body’s balance is disturbed, Wind can easily invade and trigger these seasonal symptoms. 🤧
Acupuncture may help to calm the immune system, release blockages, and strengthen your body’s defences, so you can enjoy the beauty of Spring without being held back by hay fever 🌻✨
Book an appointment today to support your Liver & Gallbladder energy, and any other imbalances to support optimal vitality 👌🏼

Spring belongs to the Liver and the element of Wind.
When in balance, the Liver helps Qi flow smoothly, but when disturbed, Wind can bring headaches, dizziness, allergies, or tension.

In TCM, Spring is the season of renewal, growth, and upward movement. 🌱
Just like the sprouts pushing through the soil, our own Qi naturally wants to rise and expand.
Eating sprouts at this time of year helps us align with the season, they lighten the body, support the Liver and Gallbladder, and encourage smooth flow of energy.
Living with the seasons means choosing foods that reflect nature’s rhythm, and sprouts are the perfect Spring food to bring freshness, vitality, and balance 🌸
Broccoli sprouts are a great choice and super easy to sprinkle on any savoury dish 👌🏼

Traditional Chinese medicine is an holistic primary health care system which has been practiced for over 2500 years. At Radiant Chi we focus on nurturing life using ancient Chinese wisdom, to maintain the balance between yin and yang and support the body, mind and spirit.
Chinese medicines roots stem from Daoist philosophies that suggest that everything in the universe is part of an unbroken whole, where life arises from the interplay of opposites (Yin and Yang) and we can have a life of health and prosperity by observing nature and its natural cycles. When our bodies are in harmony with our surroundings, we are healthy and there is an abundant supply of qi (pronounced chee/chi), which is our life force or energy that runs through an unseen network of meridians across the body. If the flow of qi becomes depleted or blocked the body fails to maintain harmony or balance and then disease and illness follows.
Chinese medicine is not only used for treating disharmony in the body (disease) but was historically used for prevention over cure.
Our goal at Radiant Chi is to promote wellness for the whole family. We care about helping all our patients reach their full potential, with optimal health in their demanding modern lifestyles. By finding balance of the mind, body and spirit, it allows individuals to be more present and calm for their families and the other aspects of their lives, which lead to healthier and happier adults and better communities.
Radiant Chi offers a service that is comfortable, safe and relaxing. Families can take time to retreat, whilst our practitioners provide direction for the imbalances in the body, allowing it to carry out its own innate ability to heal and be protected from disease.
