Bolognaise on a waffle. Who needs pasta, when a waffle fills the spot. Not just any waffle, but one made with the best ingredients. Tonight a chocolate waffle. Semi sweet and savoury together. Great combo and great for my gut too.

for the best. Link in bio for a discount on your first order.

It doesn’t matter where you start — it’s how you finish. 💥
Training for the HYROX relay lit a spark — proof that sometimes you’ve just got to have a go. 🔥 convinced me to join.

I was still on the fence… until my gym buddy gave me the push I needed. We have teamed up for the doubles, training hard, and now we’re heading for our big finale this September with the first Hyrox competition in Perth.

From “maybe” to “we’re in” — now it’s game on.

Nothing nicer than home made icecream and fresh fruit.
Today
1 container of coconut yoghurt or Greek or natural.
Frozen raspberries 250g
3tbs maple syrup
1/4 tsp Celtic salt
3 tbs chia seeds

Cook raspberries, salt and maple syrup for 5 mins on stove. Add in chia seeds. Cook another 5 mins constantly stirring.
Leave to cool down. It's now jam. (Save some for hot cross buns)

Mix yoghurt and raspberry jam together. FREEZE.
Use a high speed blender, or thermomix or Ninja icecream maker.
Enjoy. Delicious 😋 😋

Going with the green theme for St Patrick's day. Pesto made with lots of green - basil, spinach, rocket, pepitas and some sea shells .
I used lots of olive oil from Dinningup grove and leftover chicken. For cheese I used goats cheese with dill. Delicious 😋 😋 😋

Add onto yesterday. Because I am a little piggy I wanted more in my bowl. I added a scrambled egg into it and celery. Today's fish is sardines.

Yes I lick the bowl 🥣 😋 🤪 always.

Seriously a vent air freshener that supposedly smells good but has so many poison hazards.

Keep all your windows up, take a deep breath and then wait for all your inflammatory genes to be revved up and then blame everything else except for the disgusting smelling vent air freshener.
Just hope that your detox genes are working for you and able to help eliminate the poison.

Did you know some of us are born with a variation to our taste buds genes. TAS2R38 - Taste 2 receptor member 38.
My genotype is associated with being a taster of bitter flavours found in cabbage, soy, broccoli, coffee and green tea.
We don't want to disregard these foods as they have important dietary sources of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants including sulphurothanes which are cardio protective and anticarcinogenic.
To get around the bitterness of my black coffee I add a pinch of good quality salt. It decreases the bitterness. 😋 Eating my salted dehydrated walnuts with a couple of majool dates at the same time helps too.

Back home and no waste with crusts in this house. All my loaves sliced and frozen. Bread crumbs ready too. 😋
