When Pooh got stuck in a hole (after eating too much honey), he simply waited till he’d shrunk enough to crawl out. Moral? Sometimes doing nothing is the best response to a problem. And sometimes we need to make an effort to break free - and sometimes it’s a bit of both.
When we’re ‘stuck’ like Pooh, it’s often through a seemingly immovable obstacle, reluctance to change direction, or unresolvable conflict that brings us to a standstill and state of anxious confusion. But if we can gently hold onto the blockage and discomfort - within ourselves as vessel - surrender, wait and endure the uncertainty and tension, eventually fate intervenes to rescue us from the dilemma of apparently irreconcilable, alternative paths. Or an unforeseen ‘third’ path unexpectedly emerges. Or we simply outgrow the conflict, or it becomes no longer important to us.
Soul’s journey, in other words, is not only about treading our path, but also about knowing when not to act, when to keep still, draw upon our reserves of inner nourishment (like Pooh), conserve energy and await the right time for movement.
So when you next find yourself stuck in a hole like Pooh, it may be an 'opportunity in adversity’, an invitation to deepen into life and expand your horizons - through the shrinking that gifts you with greater patience, fluidity and ‘lightness of being’.

I learned that being alone is safer than being surrounded by people who make you feel unseen. There’s a quiet kind of pain that comes from laughing in rooms where no one truly hears you, from explaining yourself over and over and still feeling invisible. Loneliness doesn’t always come from being by yourself—sometimes it comes from being with people who don’t value your presence, only your availability.

Choosing solitude wasn’t about pushing people away; it was about protecting my peace. In my own space, I no longer have to dim my feelings or question my worth. I’ve learned to sit with myself, listen to my own voice, and honor what I feel without interruption. And in that stillness, I found something I never had before—safety, clarity, and the strength to wait for connections that truly see me.

When you mind spirals into what-ifs, return to what is. What is here. What is real. What is within reach. Ground your body in the now so your mind can’t drag you into the imagined pain of the future.

Inner strength is not about holding yourself together at all times. It is the quiet knowing that even when life pulls you apart, you have the courage to gather your pieces with tenderness instead of shame. It is understanding that breaking does not make you weak. It makes you human. And choosing to rise again makes you powerful.

Real strength lives in the soft places. In the way you choose hope after disappointment. In the way you keep your heart open even after it has been wounded. In the way you learn to trust yourself again, slowly and honestly. It is the belief that your spirit was never meant to stay shattered, that healing is your birthright, and that every time you rebuild, you become someone wiser, deeper, and more whole.

You do not have to be unbreakable. You only have to remember that you are rebuildable.

If you invite someone into your home and they start breaking things and insulting your decor, you don’t have to hate them, but you wouldn’t invite them into your home any more.
Boundaries are the same thing except your home is your mind. Your home is your heart. Your home is your time and your life. Uninvite the guests who don’t know how to treat your home with respect.
