🌟 I have to laugh sometimes when people think Spinal Flow Technique is some kind of magical, instant fix! 🪄 Yes, it’s an amazing method that helps your body heal, but let’s be real—years of stress and tension don’t just melt away after one session. Imagine trying to fix a car that’s been running on empty for years with just a drop of fuel. It takes a little more than that!

Healing is a journey, not a quick pit stop. It takes commitment, consistency, and yes, the willingness to make changes in your life outside of our sessions too. The body holds onto stress in layers, and we peel them back bit by bit. 💆‍♀️

So, if you’re ready to truly transform how you feel, it’s about showing up, giving your body time, and making room for changes in your daily routine. Healing is a partnership—you and your body working together. You’re stronger than you think, and your body knows how to heal. Let’s honor that process. 🙌

The body is amazing. It has an innate wisdom. When the the body is stressed it goes into Flight Fight mode and causes blockages in the spine. This is where you see Kyphosis and scoliosis, and dis-ease in the body. Severity pending on stressors. But when released the body comes out of Flight Fight mode, and these blockages will begin to heal. Spinal Flow is an amazing Technique that helps the body to heal itself, and come out of Flight Fight. The blockages can be Physical, Chemical and Trauma stress. Stressors can be passed on from the mother from before birth too. So when you are stressed think of this. If your diet/Way of eating is not serving your body, change it. I changed my way of eating as I was extremely obese and even though I was only eating vegetables and meat, my portions were the size of a bread plate, my body was stressed and so inflamed, I could hardly get up out of bed in the mornings. I had Fibromyalgia too. Not everyone can eat vegetables. I went onto the Carnivore Way of eating and within seven months I went from a size 20 to a 16, and that was eating two meals a day and not small portions. You eat until you are satiated. Only eating when the body is hungry. Ketosis happens when you fast. So please don't always push vegetables onto others. They could also be allergic to them as I am. High animal fats and protein and salt. No plant based food or oils is the only thing that has helped me. And yes my Cholesterol is nigh on perfect. Will be rechecked in two to three weeks time. I can now get onto my massage table with ease and have a Spinal Flow session. Where before I could not get on the table. My hope is that every "body" can be released for pain and dis-ease. Thinking of you all. Do some grounding meditation - love you -do you. Don't let others dictate what goes into your body - release the burdens and allow you spinal flow to be realized ☺️🌺

Did you know:- drinking hot water can benefit you. This is what I just read today. It is said that hot water increases blood circulation and helps decrease complications associated with cramps and indigestion. It washes away the coldness clogged up in one’s body, and thus eases pain. But it’s no doubt that any type of water can provide your body with hydration, which helps your kidney flush waste products and toxins from your body and provides a medium for all of the biochemical and metabolic processes in your body. Above all we must mention that hot water helps you increase your body temperature and also the metabolic rate, while increased metabolic rate makes your body use more calories, helps your stomach and intestines stimulate. Drinking hot water helps you to keep fit. According to the traditional Chinese medicine, healthy is due to an internal balance of Yin and Yang. In the Yin-Yang theory, water is Yin-type while hot stuff is Yang-type, drinking hot water can enrich Yin and tonify Yang in your body, it keeps Yin and Yang in equilibrium.
If you have cold symptoms or other Yin-type imbalances such as frequent chills, thirst, depression, sleepiness, bloating or retention of fluids, hot water plays the role of the Yang and brings your body back into balance. Doctors of traditional Chinese medicine always tell patients to drink more hot water, they call it method of resolving exterior. (The other day I started getting a sore throat and because I am now in the habit of drinking hot water, by the morning it had gone.)
On the basis of traditional Chinese medicine, drinking a glass of warm water in the morning helps kick-start the digestive system. Warm water or hot water stimulates blood circulation, helps detoxify your body and promotes your digestive system.
(I find this very interesting as I began drinking hot water several weeks ago and I have found that my Hiatus hernia has not been playing up.) I also feel great. I like to drink it whilst it is just hot enough not to burn me. Worth giving it a try.
