Annemieke passed away in Anchusa Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Cherished and loved wife of Martin.

Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Fiona, Helen, Karina, Denise and Eoin.

Proud Grammy to Dayna, Zac, Chloe, Brodie, Harriet and Grace.

In our hearts forever.

Special thanks to the amazing staff at Anchusa for all of their wonderful care, support and compassion.

The Funeral Service for Annemieke will be held on Friday 6th of February at 2pm at the Kingscote Yacht Club
Please wear a touch of blue in her honour.

In loving memory of Peter John Weatherstone who died on 27th of December at Kingscote Hospital.
Devoted and much loved husband of Christine.
Loved and loving father of Anthony and Kylie.
Cherished and much loved Grandpa of Lucy and Ryan.
Beloved son of Murray and Mary (both deceased) and loved brother of Kathleen (dec) and Phillip and their families.

Peter’s funeral service will be held this Friday 2nd January at 1pm at the Kingscote Catholic Chuch - Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

A second service will be held on Thursday 8th of January at 1pm at the Church of the Nativity at Aberfoyle Park. Corner of Sunnymeade Drive and London Rd, Aberfoyle Park.

Dudley Thomas Roberts passed away peacefully on Friday 10th of October (5 days after his 102nd birthday).

His funeral will be held at 2pm on Thursday 16th of October at St Albans Anglican Church, corner of Drew and Osmond Streets in Kingscote.

This will be followed by his burial at the American River Cemetery and then with refreshments at the American River Hall.

Aged 88 years

Sadly missed, but back in the arms of her beloved husband Bob (dec.)

Passed away peacefully in Kingscote Hospital on 15/08/2025

On behalf of Iris Noyce I share the following information…

Patricia (Pat) Noyce passed away in her sleep in Carnarvon Kingscote KI on the 9th of August 2025.
Mum is at peace now, no more hallucinations.

Her love for journalism continued to the end, submitting articles for the monthly Newsletter
A respected journalist in the Riverland, a volunteer for numerous years at St Catherine nursing home Riverland, continuing to volunteer at Anchusa & Carnarvon when moving to Kingscote. She published the monthly newsletter at Boronia where she lived with her husband Vic.
Now reunited with Vic, Ricky & John Williams.
And now, she can now continue the Scrabble games with Burnie Ward...

Pat will be privately cremated.

Death doulas like Danni Petkovic [Proveda] are making it easier for people to talk about and understand their own death.

She told ABC Radio National Breakfast that many people she works with are worried about leaving their families behind to deal with the sadness and logistics, but Ms Petkovic says once a family conversation begins, “no one ever says, I want to stop talking about this.”

“It's not so much death itself, it's the dying process and what it looks like,” she says.

Today is Dying to Know Day, a chance for people to come together and have conversations about end of life and planning and what it means for their family.
