Sometimes the message to recharge is loud and clear… today ours came in the form of a flat car battery, meaning we missed PT training. 🔋🚗

It got me thinking…

A lot of people one of the main things we do in kinesiology is “food testing”…and honestly? That can be one of the really fun parts. 😄

In Level 1 Kinesiopractic®, we learn that: just because a food is considered “healthy”…doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthy for your body right now.

Your nervous system, digestion, stress levels, immune system, hormones and energy all influence what your body can actually process and utilise.

Using muscle testing, we explore:
✨ How the body responds to certain foods and supplements.
✨ which foods may be supportive
✨ which foods may be creating stress

And the coolest part?

You actually get to SEE the changes happen through the body’s response.

One person may positively with a food…while another may show stress.

It’s such a powerful reminder that health isn’t one-size-fits-all.

This module is always a favourite because it’s hands-on, surprising, and gives you a whole new perspective on how intelligently the body communicates.

Plus… testing foods is genuinely so much fun 😂

There’s something really special about students learning inside a real clinic environment — not just from manuals or theory, but immersed in the energy of the work itself.

Everything is here:the resources,the tools,the charts,the treatment space,the conversations,the lived experience.

Students get to see how kinesiology integrates into real life and real practice, not just a classroom version of it.

And honestly… there’s also something deeply supportive about not having to pack up my whole life and transport everything somewhere else to teach 😂

It means I can be more present.More grounded.More available for the people in front of me.

Over time this space has become more than a clinic or classroom.It’s become a place of growth, healing, connection and transformation — for both clients and students alike 🤍

Mother’s Day is tomorrow.
And for many mums, what they genuinely need isn’t another thing to carry.

Not more pressure to “relax.”
Not a rushed massage squeezed between responsibilities.
Not something that temporarily distracts them from exhaustion.

What many mothers are carrying runs much deeper than tiredness.

It’s been one of those days where it’s obvious my brain is not integrated….

✔️Puts water on to boil eggs for lunch.
✔️remember washing needs hanging out
✔️decide it’s time to fill green bin for collection tomorrow
✔️“ooo maybe I’ll have chicken for lunch” - pulls chicken out of freezer to defrost while I fill the green bin.
✔️collect green bin and fill with ferns from backyard.
✔️, take bin to curb and get distracted moving pot plants into new spots.
✔️think about adding fish into the air fryer for lunch once you’ve finished here.
✔️ continue to add food and potting mix to pots. Move a couple inside.
✔️ notice strange sound coming from the kitchen and hear the pot on the stove is now boiling and has been for a while…
✔️ fill with more water so you can actually boil the eggs.
✔️realise the chicken you also thought you’d make is nearly defrosted.
✔️Decide there’s no need for fish too. 🫣

Time for some switching.

I know my future self will be grateful for the prep.

Your brain isn’t just storing memories…
