Your brain isn’t just storing memories…
It’s rewriting them every time you recall them.
This is called memory reconsolidation.
Which means — the emotional charge, the meaning, the way your body responds…

In kinesiology, we work with the nervous system while these patterns are active —
so the body can update its response in real time.
Not by forcing change.
But by creating the conditions for it.

Flexibility is something a lot of people say they want…

But what I’ve learned is — it’s not just about having more “free time.”

It’s about how you spend your time.It’s about being able to structure your days in a way that actually supports your energy, your family, and your capacity to show up fully.

Running my own kinesiology business has given me that.

I can choose my client days.I can create space when I need it.I can build my work around my life — not the other way around.

I am so grateful that I took the kinesiology pathway that I did!

Last week we celebrated these incredible humans graduating from Level 1 ✨
And honestly… I am so proud of them.
Each of them has shown up — fully.
They’ve completed hours of face-to-face training and clinic practice.
They’ve stepped outside their comfort zones to find people for case studies.
They’ve started building the foundations of their own kinesiology practice.
And now… they have their certificates to reflect all of that effort, courage, and commitment.
But what I see — every single time I teach this course — goes far beyond the qualification.
Each person goes through their own character arc.
A transformation that unfolds over the course of the year.
Why?
Because Level 1 isn’t just a course.
It’s a self-development journey first… and a qualification second.
What you learn isn’t just what to do as a practitioner.
It’s who you become while doing it.
You learn how to work with the body in a grounded, structured way…

One of the most common things I hear in Level 1 is,
“But when do we actually use this?”
PKP is full of incredible tools. But tools on their own are not enough. What matters is knowing when to use them, why to use them, and how to let the body guide the next step.
That’s why in BKP 106 we teach the Kinesiopractic® Protocol — a structured process that helps you work with a system that is ready to change, while allowing the client’s body to cue up what will best support that system next. This aligns with the syllabus, where BKP 106 introduces the PKP database and finger mode protocol.

One of the first things we learn in kinesiology training is that stress also has a physiological response.
The nervous system records experiences through muscle tone, breathing patterns, posture and emotional responses.
Over time these responses can become familiar patterns the body continues to repeat.
Understanding this changes the way you look at symptoms.
Instead of asking
“What is wrong with the body?”
You begin asking
“What pattern is the body maintaining?”
In Kinesiopractic® we learn to observe and work with these responses through structured protocols, that including emotional stress release and muscle assessment processes.
What many students discover is that learning kinesiology isn’t just about techniques.
It’s about developing a deeper understanding of how the body communicates and adapts.

About Be Your Potential

Jess is the owner of Be Your Potential ~ a centre for Kinesiology and Practitioner training. Jess is a wholesome, caring and intuitive individual who is passionate about helping people reach their potential. She finds herself often connecting with individuals who aren’t living the best version of themselves and are seeking ways to stop feeling the way that they do, and start living the life that they desire. In 2010 Jess came across Kinesiology, a wellness modality that incorporated her passion for helping people, her interest in the minds and thoughts of those around her, and her innate understanding of how holistically connected the body, the mind and your environment is.

Jess is now a Diploma Trained Kinesiologist and uses her skills to support individuals to make positive changes in their life and their wellbeing. Usually people come to see Jess when they are experiencing issues with their health and wellbeing or they simply want to improve their wellness and vitality and achieving their life goals. Jess uses muscle testing to identify and correct imbalances in the physical, structural, mental ,emotional, biochemical and energetic pathways of her clients in order to reinstate the bodies own innate healing abilities. Because Jess works holistically with ALL aspects of you, the benefits of a session with her are endless. You can expect to walk out of a session with mental and emotional clarity, a reduction in pain and tension, an improvement in the functioning of your body and an improved sense of wellness and vitality.

Jess is also a trained faculty member for the ICPKP and has been mentoring students studying PKP. In 2018 she opened her own Kinesiology Teaching Centre in Gosford NSW and is now teaching the International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice along with a number of K-Power workshops for those either looking for a Career in Kinesiology or are simply wanting some techniques that will help support their own friends and family.
