Life is all about balance, and as we all know, this is often the hardest thing to achieve. I am a big believer in nourishing your mind, body and soul through physical activity and eating a varied diet full of macro and micro nutrients to ensure optimal health. Food is fuel and it literally fuels our mind and body; the connection is strong. Wellness starts from within, and in order to be happy with the world, you need to first be happy with yourself. Physical activity has so many amazing rewards for our physical and mental wellbeing - I want to help my clients see and feel these benefits and help them understand how to achieve a healthy, active, balanced lifestyle. I love keeping physically active, which is probably a good thing given my other love - food! I am constantly trying to create ‘healthy’ or ‘raw’ versions of my favorite treats and substituting ingredients for healthier options. Sometimes they are big hit... and sometimes not so much. Finding the perfect balance is never easy, and is something that constantly needs to be worked at and adjusted, depending on what life throws your way. I have always lived by this - life is too short to miss out on the little things, and also too short to overindulge and not have the energy and positivity to get the quality out of life. Healthy, active living need not be a hindrance, but a habit. I am a strong believer in self motivation and setting both short and long term goals – that just like achieving balance, need to continually reviewed and re-adjusted. I will there to coach you through your journey to finding that balance and becoming a stronger, healthier version of yourself; but you need to ask yourself why you want to change, set goals and ensure you have the self-motivation to achieve these. It will waiver at times - but that is why I am here, to remind you of why you started.
