Permission to feel however you feel this Easter

There can be a lot of pressure for long weekends to feel “good”—rested, social, happy.

But if you're feeling low, overwhelmed, or out of sync with everyone else… you’re not doing it wrong.

Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is lower the bar, take things slow, and be gentle with yourself 💛

Small steps are enough 🌿

🌿 Small ways to take care of yourself this long weekend

If things are feeling a bit heavy, you don’t have to overhaul everything—small things can help 💛

• eat something nourishing (even if it’s simple)
• get outside for a bit of fresh air
• move your body in a way that feels okay
• rest when you need to
• do one small thing that feels comforting

You don’t have to do all of these—just pick what feels manageable.

Today is a reminder to move beyond awareness and into acceptance. Autistic young people deserve to feel understood, included, and celebrated for who they are.

Take a moment to listen, learn, and challenge assumptions — even small actions can make a big difference.
