We will kick off the day with our collective fundraiser market featuring the works of local artists, along with crafts, local and pre-loved goods, street food, baked goods sale, music and two special workshops.
All artworks and efforts have been generously donated by our community.
The markets will be followed by the powerful documentary’ Motherhood in the Colony’, including a post-screening circle and reflection.
Motherhood in the Colony is an intimate cross-cultural exchange between First Nations and Palestinian women, created by .RU.WA and , with support from .
Created on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation in Victoria.

Event Entry and Film Screening are free, with a suggested donation welcome. It’s a modest venue so spots for the screening are limited, registration via the link in our bio recommended to secure your spot.
All proceeds raised from the day will support Palestinian mutual aid networks supporting families subjected to severe food insecurity and displacement inflicted by the ongoing genocide.
Proceeds will also go to Sisters Inside, a First Nations organisation which works both within and beyond prison walls, advocating for the rights and wellbeing of criminalised women and girls, and their children. The organisation supports women to live safe, secure, and violence-free lives.
