🙌Germany has further restricted the live transport of animals 🙌
As of July 2023, the export of animals from Germany outside the European Union for breeding will be banned. This is in addition to a prior ban on the export of animals outside of the EU for slaughter.
While Germany’s Agriculture Minister recognises there is still a way to go, this historic decision will spare thousands of animals from suffering in the live export trade.
Our dedicated Animals International team have worked tirelessly over the years to investigate, document, and expose the horrific treatment and suffering of animals trapped in the European live export industry and it was this very evidence that has helped secure this political decision. This is thanks to the dedicated support of our donors and caring supporter community. Thank you!

The Kurrajong leaves are used to make the bush medicine we need made by Anmatyerr women - after the desert rains the kurrajong flowers and then sends it seed to the ground to regrow on Atnangkerre Country for the bush medicine we make to be healthy always and forever 😊
