Diary of a retreat hostess • Thailand • Day 6 🥥
Following an adventurous day of island hopping, we saved the best (cocktail!) for last to - somewhat - ease the pain of packing our bags for tomorrow’s departure.
So on day 6, there were a LOT of coconuts. Some with rum. Some with actual electrolytes..
Other highlights:
- as usual, we started the day with an energising class, which was Vinyasa on day 6, followed by a sumptuous breakie.
- some guests went back for more massages & facials.
- a final check on the airport & onward transfers, followed by.,
- a pre sunset soothing yin style class
- and well-deserved delicious coconut rum cocktails fit for a spiritual epiphany
- our farewell dinner done in style, with more drinks & a nightly post-dinner group dip in the pool where we put the world to rights.
We absolutely LOVE whisking women away to paradise for a reset, yet we believe the real magic lies in creating small moments of self-care that fit into everyday life - something we’ll be helping you with through our soon-to-launch online offerings.
One thing we notice often on retreat is that it can take women a few days to properly unwind and switch off from the chaos of everyday life. By building simple, sustainable rituals into your regular routine, you can arrive already feeling more grounded - and reap the benefits of your retreat from day one, instead of only fully exhaling by day three. 💜
