This week is Men's Mental Health week.
We lose men not just to su***de, but to depression, anxiety, childhood trauma and abuse, self-blame, guilt, shame, self-censoring and guardedness, societal pressures around how men should be and how they should behave.
Listen to men when they talk. Really listen. Don't interrupt, don't fix, don't judge. Just listen with an open heart and open mind.
Men need a safe space to land and to be.
Men hurt too.
The following list of supports is from a post currently doing the rounds. A big thank you to whomever collated this list.
