Please help keep Creative arts therapies in the NDIS!!

The sudden changes to the NDIS Therapy Supports category announced on 26 November 2024 have raised serious concerns among participants, families, and creative arts therapists. Many fear these changes will reduce access to vital supports like Dance Movement Therapy, an evidence-based practice that improves functional capacity, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life for people with diverse needs.

Dance Movement Therapy is a unique and essential option for individuals who may struggle with traditional therapies, helping participants of all ages connect mind and body while enhancing communication, mobility, and psychosocial functioning.

The NDIS must honor its core principle of participant choice and control to ensure these vital therapies remain accessible.

Please help by:
Taking this statement to your local MPs, discussing the issues and appealing to them to reverse the government’s decision.
