                                            IRON 💪🏽 is essential nutrient for supporting energy levels, maintaining a strong immune system, and transporting oxygen through the body 
BUT deficiency is common, especially among those on restrictive diets (like the Low FODMAP diet!) 
Here are some gut friendly sources of iron to incorporate in your diet! 
Some tips for maximising your iron intake:
- combine iron rich foods with something containing Vitamin C (such as strawberries, tomato or capsicum) as this increases iron absorption 
- avoid consuming dairy or caffeine at the same time as iron, as this will block iron absorption
