A New Era for Aged Care

Today marks a major milestone in aged care across Australia. The new Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards officially come into effect from November 1st 2025.

These reforms place older Australians firmly at the center of care — bringing a stronger focus on dignity, choice, safety, and quality in every part of aged care.

For Purpose Aged Care is proud to embrace this change. We’ve been preparing for months to ensure our homes, teams, and systems reflect the spirit and standards of the new reforms.

You’ll see these changes in how we listen, how we personalise care, and how we keep improving to deliver the best possible experience for residents and families.

Together, we’re shaping a future for aged care that is more respectful, transparent, and person-centered.

At For Purpose Aged Care, caring for our residents also means caring for our staff. That’s why we provide support through AccessEAP, a confidential support service for our people and their families.
