Here’s a simple and engaging way to help little learners identify and visualise numbers 🔢✨

All you need:
🟡 Play Doh
🖍️ A crayon

Press the crayon into the Play Doh to match the number with dots —
1 = 1 dot
2 = 2 dots
3 = 3 dots… and so on!

This hands-on activity helps children connect the symbol of the number with the actual quantity 👀➡️🔢

Learning numbers through touch, sight and movement makes the concept stick 🌟

Did you know there are Medicare rebates available for speech pathology sessions? 💬

Under the updated scheme, eligible children and young adults may be able to access:
• Up to 8 assessment sessions
• Up to 20 treatment sessions
• Medicare rebate of $87.25 per session

Families may also still be able to use a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) through their GP, which can provide up to 5 allied health sessions per year.

These pathways can sometimes be used together, depending on your child’s situation and referral.

Understanding the options can feel a little overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. 🤝
