Just to let anyone who lives from Tweed Heads to Grafton and out to Tenterfield know I have capacity to see clients aged over 10 years old soon.

Katt McDonald OT specialises in NDIS, Home Care Packages, Insurance and Private Clients wirh AT, FCA Ax, DLS Therapy, Assistance Dog assessments, and OT Driver Assessment inc prescription for car mods. Katt also assists with simple, non-structural home mods and fine motor/ upper limb function and therapy.

Brighter and better independence in 2024. Another year is upon us. I hope everyone had a peaceful and joyous Xmas and New YeR.

We offer OT for people of any ability from 16 years and up. We offer the following services:
- NDIS- Functional Assessment, AT assessments, daily living skills therapy, psychosocial therapy
- HCP - OT assessments
- ADL assessments for insurance and Workco er
-Private clients
- equipment prescription inc wheelchairs, electric chair raisers and bed
- seating assessments
- OT Driver Assessment and therapy

And the list goes on.

Love seeing my clients gain their independece!! Handheld satellite accelerator and extended brake lever for a person whose legs are unable to operate the brake and accelerator.

Just thought I'd let you know I've decided not to re-register with the NDIS. I can still offer OT for participants who are self managed or plan managed. Being registered with the NDIS has become quite expensive for getting the auditing done and organising all the documents they require is a headache for a sole therapist.

Still doing OT with NDIS if anyone not managed through the NDIS needs help.

Just to let everyone know I'm having a baby....
I plan to be on Maternity Leave from this week to March 2023. In saying that I won't be taking any new referrals but after 8 weeks, my current clients can contact me via phone, email or telehealth but I won't be doing any face to face appts.

Yay, exciting news!! I have changed my Business Name from Katt McDonald OT & DriverRehab to Katt McDonald OT. I feel that I needed a revamp and the name allows for a shorter email address: katt@kattmcdonaldot.com.
I will still be offering OT Driving Assessments, however I also offer a lot more OT services. I will also be getting a new website: kattmcdonaldot.com.
