As the holy month of Ramadan is approaching, we are happy to announce that this year we have collaborated with Muslim Women Australia (MWA) in our Annual Eid Food and Toy Drive! MWA works alongside many charities and service providers to distribute food and provide support to women and families. We will be accepting these food staples at our centre which are Rice, Pasta, Noodles, Lentils, Bulgur Wheat, Canned Chickpeas, Oil, Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Coconut Milk, Tahini, Canned Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Canned Beans, Canned Tuna, Dried herbs and spices, Tea, Honey, Flour, Sugar and Dried Fruits. We will also only be accepting Brand New Toys for the children to be gifted for on Eid and we kindly request the toys not to be gift-wrapped. This is so that MWA can see what they are giving to the children and make sure it is suitable for them. This will begin from Monday 11th March - 4th April 2024. The times food and toys can be dropped off are from 8am - 5pm.
Drop off location will be 60 Yangoora St, Lakemba 2195.
