What your treatment appointment will look like with Lancefield Lice Lady Precision Head Lice Treatment.
On arrival you will be greeted by myself, Bec your LiceDoctor trained - treatment specialist.
You'll be seated and a patch test will be performed on your inner elbow, you will complete your consent form while we wait a couple of minutes for patch test.
Once cleared for any reaction and consent forms are signed we move onto the treatment.
Your 1 hour treatment will begin by applying Head4Lice treatment through our specially trained technique.
Then your hair will be wrapped for 30 minutes ensuring our product penetrates and kills the eggs, the lice usually die within 5 minutes of application.
After 30 minutes you will begin the "Comb Out" process, where you will have a solution added to your hair to help with combing out the dead lice and eggs. During which I will show you the correct way to comb out your hair at home. ( After sanitisation at home, which will be discussed during your appointment.)
During your comb out I will also offer you advise on preventative treatment options to help minimise the risk of re-infestation and answer any questions that you may have.
Once comb out is complete, your treatment is then finished and you will need to go home and follow instructions on sanitisation of your home & belongings.
After sanitisation of your home you can then wash out your treatment and begin comb out process.
We recommend sanitising your home & items before washing treatment from hair to reduce the risk of any live lice still in your home re-infesting your hair.
