Resurrect your soul from all dreams of frailties. Resurrect your soul in eternal wisdom. What is the method? It includes many things: self-control, proper diet, fortitude, an undaunted mental attitude, and relaxation of the consciousness from body identification by faithful daily practice of scientific concentration and meditation principles. "Drive away from your mind all pride and prejudices, that
you may fittingly hold the omnipresent Christ Consciousness in your
love-expanded bosom.
If at Christmas you find your strong will unconquered by the tests
of temptations, know that Christ is born within you in reality.
If in the coming Christmas you can maintain inner peace when
crucified with disquietude, know that Christ is with you.
If at Christmas you can meditate with deep joy in spite of the restless
horde of invading thoughts, know that Christ as the divine joy of
meditation has manifested within you.

When all the time you can feel within you the ecstasy of unbroken

The Crucifixion

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him….
Then said Jesus, “ Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”
--Luke 23:33-34

Of all the miracles performed by Jesus, none was equal to that mightiest miracle of the spiritual victory of divine love over evil: " Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." These words have created in human hearts an everlasting monument to Christ-love......

His act of forgiveness on the cross was the utterance of a divinely human Jesus who had attained final victory over flesh and cosmic delusion and passed the greatest test to which the flesh can be subjected. Even while the dearest thing in life, the human body, was suffering the pangs of torment and imminent death, Jesus did not falter in manifesting his divine nature….He gave his body but never yielded his spirit.

GOD'S BOATMAN by PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA

I want to ply my boat, many times,
Across the gulf-after-death,
And return to earth's shores
From my home in heaven.
I want to load my boat
With those waiting, thirsty ones
Who are left behind,
And carry them by the opal pool
Of iridescent joy
Where my Father distributes
His all-desire, quenching liquid peace.
Oh, I will come again and again!
Crossing a million crags of suffering,
With bleeding feet, I will come
If need be, a trillion times
So long as I know
One stray brother is left behind.
I want Thee, O God,
That I may give Thee to all.

“You will come to me in four weeks.” For the first time, Sri
Yukteswar’s voice was stern. “Now that I have told you of my
eternal affection and have shown my happiness at finding you,
you feel free to disregard my request. The next time we meet,
you shall have to reawaken my interest. I won’t easily accept
you as a disciple: there must be complete surrender by
obedience to my strict training.”
I remained obstinately silent. My guru quickly penetrated
my difficulty.
“Do you think your relatives will laugh at you?”
“I will not return.”
“You will return in thirty days.”
“Never.”
The controversial tension unrelieved, I bowed reverently at
his feet and departed. Walking in the midnight darkness
toward the ashram, I wondered why the miraculous meeting
had ended on an inharmonious note. The dual scales of maya,
that balance every joy with a grief! My young heart was not
yet malleable to the transforming fingers of my guru.
