🌟 Honoring Our Friend James: Community Bench Initiative 🌟

Dear community,

I hope this message finds you all well. I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to honor my dear friend, James, who was tragically taken from us in a hit-and-run incident. James was a dedicated volunteer at Neigh Worries Equine Assisted Learning, where he brought joy and support to many people through his passion for helping others.

In memory of his kind spirit, I would like to create a special bench seat in our community where everyone can sit, reflect, and remember the remarkable impact he made during his time with us. I plan to sand and varnish the bench, ensuring it becomes a beautiful and lasting tribute. Additionally, I will have a lovely plaque made to commemorate James and his incredible contributions.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone in the Lara community might be able to help us source a bench seat. Whether you have one to donate, know where I could find one, or want to chip in with ideas, I would greatly appreciate your support.

Once upon a time, in a serene little corner of the countryside, a little boy named Ethan found his way to Neigh Worries Equine Assisted Learning. With big, curious eyes and a heart full of questions, he stepped into a world filled with gentle animals and whispering winds. But today, Ethan felt a little lost, his thoughts swirling quietly within him like leaves caught in a gentle breeze. 🌿

As he entered the cozy barn, the scents of hay and horses welcomed him, but he said nothing, instead choosing to explore the rich tapestry of sights and sounds around him. The facilitator, a warm and caring woman named Kelly, noticed Ethan’s quiet demeanor. With a kind smile, she introduced him to the Neigh Worries team, a delightful bunch of creatures that seemed to sense Ethan’s need for companionship. 🐴

First, he met Poppy, a fluffy donkey with a sweet disposition, and as if sensing Ethan’s silence, she nudged him gently, making him giggle. Next was Oreo, a spirited pony who pranced about, eager to make a new friend. With each introduction, Ethan’s heart began to lighten, as if the clouds in his mind were slowly dissipating. 💖

Kelly then led Ethan to Harper, the charming therapy dog who sat patiently, wagging her tail with excitement. 🐶 Harper seemed to understand everything without a word, her playful nature drawing Ethan in. They exchanged a few silent yet meaningful moments, and a smile crept across Ethan’s face.

As they wandered the grounds, Kelly introduced Ethan to the other animals: the playful goats who danced around their enclosure 🐐, the soft lambs that bleated sweetly 🐑, and the chickens 🐔 and ducks 🦆 that wandered freely, creating a cheerful ruckus. Each animal, in their own way, seemed to whisper encouragement into Ethan’s heart, inviting him to join in their joyful lives. 🍀

With each encounter, Ethan started to open up, sharing little snippets of his thoughts and dreams with Kelly. She listened intently, guiding him not just with her words but through the gentle nudges of the animals and the beauty of nature surrounding them. 🌈

We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of James from Neigh Worries Equine Assisted Learning, who lost his life in a hit-and-run last week.

James had a truly special way with children his kindness, humour, and warmth created joy for everyone he met. The kids adored him, and he will be remembered for the lasting impact he made in our community.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to James’ family, friends, Kelly and the Neigh Worries team. We stand with them in their grief and send our love and support during this incredibly difficult time.

💔 Today, we are heartbroken as we mourn the loss of our beloved team member, James. A true beacon of light, James dedicated his life to supporting and uplifting those around him. His energy, laughter, and boundless love for our animals and our community made him an irreplaceable part of Neigh Worries Equine.

From cleaning paddocks to caring for our horses, donkeys, chickens, and goats, James was always ready to lend a hand—a true embodiment of kindness and generosity. He touched the lives of so many, young and old alike, and brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
