Welcome Dr. Ajda Arsan to the Lauderdale Medical Centre.

Ajda is a GP registrar currently completing her training in rural and remote medicine, with advanced skills training in emergency medicine. She enjoys caring for patients across all stages of life and is particularly passionate about women’s health, including early pregnancy care and reproductive health. Ajda has completed a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and values providing kind, holistic, and patient-centred care, while building strong, long-term relationships with her patients. When she’s not at work, Ajda is hopefully out camping, hiking, surfing, or cooking up a big meal to share with friends and family.

We’re thrilled to have her on board and know she’ll make a great addition to the team. Dr Arsan will be working four days a week at the Lauderdale Medical Centre and is accepting new patients from the start of February

Welcome Dr. Caitriona O’Sullivan to the Lauderdale Medical Centre.

We’re delighted to introduce Dr. Caitriona O’Sullivan, a dedicated and compassionate GP registrar who has joined our growing team.

Originally from Ireland, Caitriona completed her medical studies at University College Dublin in 2019 before immigrating to Australia in 2020. She has worked in rural and regional areas across Australia and brings a wealth of experience across a variety of medical specialties. She is passionate about providing patient-centred care and building strong relationships within the community. Her specialist interest include chronic disease management, preventative health and family medicine care.

Outside of work Dr. O'Sullivan enjoys training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Gaelic football with her local club.

We’re thrilled to have her on board and know she’ll make a fantastic addition to the team. Dr O'Sullivan will be working Wednesday to Friday at the Lauderdale Medical Centre and is accepting new patients from the start of February

Practice Update:
We’ve now been open for 8 months and have recently welcomed a couple of new doctors to the clinic🫦
We are still accepting new patients and we try to keep a handful of book on the day appointments available for those urgent problems.

We are thrilled to introduce you to the newest GP to the team - Dr David Burton

David brings a rich background in medicine, having completed his studies at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
He takes pride in offering comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of health needs. He holds particular expertise in skin cancer detection, with a certificate in dermatoscopy – especially valuable given Tasmania's high UV exposure. His dedication to mental healthcare is demonstrated through his certificate in Primary Care Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, enabling him to provide high-quality support for patients managing anxiety and depression.

David is passionate about health equity and finds fulfillment in delivering compassionate, effective care that makes a tangible difference in his patients' lives. He values the daily variety of general practice and the meaningful connections he builds with patients. In his spare time, he loves going to gigs, have dinners with friends, trail running and bike-packing.
David will be joining us on the 3rd of November 2025 working Monday to Friday.

We are thrilled to introduce you to the newest GP to the team - Dr Kirsty O'Neill 🤩

Initially trained in the United Kingdom and have worked across Australia in both regional and city settings. With a broad international background and over 15 years of medical experience, Dr O'Neill brings a strong foundation in emergency, paediatrics, anaesthetics, and rural health.

Her career has included service in West Africa as well as several years with the Australian Army!

She is passionate about supporting rural communities and is committed to long-term practice in Tasmania. Dr O'Neill is currently in the process of completing her Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking and bush care 🌿

Currently Dr O'Neill is working Thursdays and Fridays at Lauderdale Medical Centre.

We're very excited to welcome the wonderful Dr. Meg Creely to the Lauderdale Medical Centre team 🤩

Dr. Meg is a GP originally from 'the mainland'. She completed her training at Monash University and worked across several of Melbourne's major hospital networks before relocating to Tasmania in pursuit of more bush walking and good food! 🍤🥾

Meg offers a mix of regular appointments as well as same-day appointments for when urgent issues arise.

3 month update 🙌

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Marita Jones and Dr Tim Jones to our growing team at Lauderdale Medical Centre— starting at the end of July!

Bookings are available for existing patients via HotDoc or by calling the clinic directly.

In the meantime, existing patients of Dr Marita and Dr Tim can continue receiving excellent care at Glebe Hill Family Practice until July 19th.

To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage existing patients to complete their HotDoc appointment forms — this helps maintain seamless continuity of care as they make the move to Lauderdale.
