✨ It’s been a busy few weeks at Ethical SDA as we welcome new residents, their families, and support teams into their new homes.

Yesterday, we were honoured to host members of the Lithgow Regional Branch of the National Trust Australia (NSW) for a tour of our restored facility. Together, we celebrated the transformation of the Old Lithgow TAFE building—originally constructed in 1925—into beautiful, purpose-built Specialist Disability Accommodation in the heart of Lithgow.

🌿 There’s something incredibly special about repurposing and restoring old buildings. Their architectural charm, rich history, and centralised locations make them ideal spaces to bring new life and purpose to our communities.

We’re proud to have preserved a piece of Lithgow’s heritage while creating high-quality homes that support independence, inclusion, and dignity for people with a disability.

At Ethical SDA, we understand that navigating Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) can be complex, especially when facing challenging circumstances. That’s why we’re committed to working closely with Participants, Families, and Support Coordinators to find the right housing solution.

We currently have vacancies available and are here to support Participants who may be struggling with:

✅ Urgent relocation needs
✅ Financial barriers to moving
✅ Access to essential home appliances
✅ Family-friendly accommodation requirements
✅ Pet-friendly housing (upon application)

To ensure a smooth transition, we’re happy to assist with moving costs and provide essential whitegoods and appliances where needed.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and accessible home—and we’re here to help make that happen.
