As we head into a well-earned holiday break, I just want to pause and say thank you.

To our Little TheraPeas team - WHAT a year! 2025 has been big, demanding, emotional, and incredibly meaningful, and the care, skill, and heart you bring to your work every single day never goes unnoticed. I feel so lucky to work alongside such an exceptional group of powerful, compassionate women who show up for children and families with integrity, warmth, and deep clinical expertise.

To our families — thank you for trusting us, welcoming us into your lives, and allowing us to walk alongside you and your children. It is a privilege to share in your journeys, your progress, your challenges, and your celebrations.

We are incredibly grateful for the community we get to be part of and the work we get to do.

We are now officially on holidays and will be taking this time to rest, reset, and recharge, ready for what 2026 brings.

Our Low-Lighting Silent Disco is happening these school holidays and it’s one of our favourite groups to run.

This session gives kids a chance to move freely, explore rhythm, and connect with others in a way that feels comfortable for their nervous system. With low lighting, space to spread out, and no pressure to perform, children can enjoy music and self-expression entirely at their own pace.

All ages are welcome.

Date: Thursday 8th January 2026
Time: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Cost: $50 per child
Please bring your own device and headphones for music.

Craft Club is back these school holidays and we can’t wait to welcome your creative kids in.
This group is perfect for children 7+ who love making, building, designing and getting hands-on with all things crafty.

Across the two sessions, children explore guided projects as well as their own child-led creations. It’s a relaxed, supportive space that builds confidence, planning skills, imagination and fine motor foundations—all while having fun.

Dates: Monday 12th & 19th January
Time: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Cost: $140 per person (covers both sessions)

PrepPeas is back for the 2026 Prep starters, and we’re so excited to support little learners as they get ready for the big transition to school.

This small-group program is designed to build confidence, independence, and the foundational skills children need to feel prepared and capable in the classroom. Across four sessions, we focus on routines, fine motor foundations, attention, emotional regulation, and practical school-readiness skills—all through playful, supportive OT-led activities.

Dates:
Wednesday 14th & 21st January
Thursday 15th & 22nd January
Time: 10:30am – 12:15pm
Cost: $350 per child

If your child is starting Prep in 2026 and would benefit from a gentle, structured, neuroaffirming introduction to school expectations, we’d love to have them join us.

Our No-Bake Cooking Group is the perfect way for kids to build confidence in the kitchen while having fun and creating something delicious.
This supportive, skills-focused group gives children the chance to follow steps, practise planning, work as a team, and enjoy the satisfaction of making food they’re proud of.

There are two groups available:

Group 1: Thursday 18th December 2025
10:00am – 11:30am

Group 2: Friday 9th January 2026
1:30pm – 3:00pm

Cost: $80 per group

This session includes specific planned foods. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. While we can offer limited substitutions, we may not be able to accommodate all needs.

UPDATE - SOLD – Indoor Home Therapy Gym (Wooden Frame)

We’re selling our indoor home therapy gym as we’ve had custom frames made for our new clinic build.

This is a solid wooden frame, 3 metres long and 2.1 metres high, with four cross bars across the top. Great for swings, hammocks, lycra, and monkey bars.
It’s freestanding, in very good condition and has a 150kg weight limit.

Most of the frame can be dismantled for transport. The monkey bar section is the only fixed piece, so you’ll need a vehicle that can carry that length.
One rung has some black tape marks from a grip-tape trial (pictured). It doesn’t impact use at all.

We are looking to pass it on for $1,750
(which is less than half the retail price. Brand new is $4,190 from Special Needs Play Equipment.)

Pick-up only – Baringa 4551 and available Sunday 30 November or Monday 1 December.

If you’ve been wanting to set up a therapy space at home or add a sturdy frame to your clinic, this is a great opportunity.

Signage went in for our new premise today! We are just over a week away from the move and super excited to show you all the new space.

I usually do my year of reflection when we close for the year, but as we are about to move clinic location I found myself doing it today.
I feel genuinely grateful that these are the people I get to build Little TheraPeas with. Every one of them shows up with heart, humour, compassion and a commitment to doing exceptional work for the kids and families we support.

They’re the reason our clinic feels safe and welcoming.
They’re the reason families feel understood and held.
They’re the reason we keep growing, learning and showing up even on the tough days.
And this photo shoot captured all of that. It was chaotic, funny, full of ridiculous poses and the kind of easy laughter that only happens when you genuinely enjoy the people around you. It reminded me how lucky I am to work with a team who can be professional and deeply caring one minute and then completely silly the next.

I’m proud of them. I’m grateful for them!

If your child finds handwriting tiring, fiddly, or frustrating, our Wriggly Writers program is designed to give them the foundations they need to feel confident on the page.

Across six hands-on sessions, we’ll work on the building blocks that make writing easier: letter formation, spatial awareness, postural strength, automaticity, and the ability to organise thoughts and get ideas out.

This is a small-group, OT-led program and we only have four spaces available.
