Marcus Yeo Marcus is a public figure that loves to educate people about a holistic view on life Welcome to my professional page. Marcus

My aim is to provide the most up to date and relevant information around optimal health and disease prevention, along with some other commentary pieces along the way. Having worked in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years as both a chiropractor and personal trainer, I have a burning desire to help society shift its attitude and focus towards health instead of sickness. For various reasons which include the agricultural, industrial and technological revolutions, human behaviour as a whole has shifted away from what we are genetically designed to do. The continual thirst for evolution in science and industry has taken our focus away from the simple things that our body thrives on for vitality and longevity- exercise, nutrition, mental balance and companionship. Ask yourself the following question- At the end of your life will it be more important to you to be rich or enriched? These basic human needs are often overlooked in the pursuit of pseudo-happiness whereby people work long hours to support a lifestyle that is measured by material possessions and a bank balance. The result however, is that people are spending less time moving, less time on food preparation, less time in the company of those they care about and less time doing the things that they really want to do. As a young entrepreneur, I am not suggesting that people shouldn’t apply themselves in the workplace. Instead, I am suggesting that it is important to find a point of balance in life. It is important to satisfy your body’s basic desires and requirements otherwise you will suffer for it in the long run. In order to reach this balance point you need to know the impact that the various activities that you participate in are having on your body. This is where I come in...

What a day!
Waking up knowing completed my first ultramarathon (105km) out at the You Yangs yesterday is a great feeling. The body is sore but the spirit is high.

Didn’t quite go to plan with some cramping kicking in at the 18km mark but I battled in for the next 87km and managed to finish strong and get a place of 12/33.

Special thanks to my brother .ronan for running some sections with me on the last lap.

Extra special thanks to my amazing wife for the amazing support when I was spending hours outside training over the last 7 months.

A life long goal achieved ✅

In a few years time when Fred is old enough to understand, I hope he is as grateful for me as I am for my dad Keith.

For 38 years I have only ever known him with his moustache as have others, but it is not the only thing that has been ever present. Love and dedication to his family, generosity towards others, a willingness to help people in need, a true sense of fairness and lots of other amazing examples of how to be a not just a great father but also human.

I love father’s day, what a great time to be reminded of one of the best gifts I have been granted in life.

Prevention is always better than cure and when it comes to COVID the story is no different. But there is more to prevention than wearing a mask, especially when severe outcomes are mostly associated with poor lifestyle choices.

In the strange times we currently face people are both missing the little moments that colour our life whilst at the same time wishing they had a fast forward button so that they could skip to the future.

But what about the value of time and the moments that we could be creating now that others wish they had the opportunity to do.

Never wish away time, it is the only real asset you have in life.
