At NDMHS, we’re proud to introduce Rakib Islam, our dedicated Psychotherapist. Rakib supports individuals facing trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and more.

With lived experience as a South Asian person of colour and immigrant, Rakib offers a safe and inclusive space for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. He also works with those navigating spiritual and existential concerns.
His approach is person-centred and integrative, using EMDR, Somatic techniques, IFS, CBT, expressive arts, existential, narrative, and feminist therapy.

At NDMHS (National Disability and Mental Health Services), we’re expanding our Liverpool team and looking for an amazing individual to join us as a Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach.

✨ You’ll help NDIS participants navigate their plans, access supports, and build confidence and independence through person-centred, strengths-based care.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ What You'll Be Doing:
βœ” Build strong, respectful relationships with participants, families, and service providers
βœ” Help participants understand and implement their NDIS plans
βœ” Connect participants with relevant services (mainstream, community, specialist)
βœ” Create and monitor strengths-based recovery plans
βœ” Provide advocacy and support for navigating the NDIS system
βœ”Track participant progress and maintain accurate case notes
βœ” Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards

βœ” Certificate IV or Diploma (Community Services, Mental Health, Peer Work or similar)
