Sever's Disease is a condition that mainly affects children, generally during early puberty when they are experiencing growth spurts.

Sever's develops when the growth plate in the heel is injured. It will often occur during a new sports season when activity is increased. Children with Sever's will often tiptoe to avoid walking on their heels.
