This month is known as April Falls Prevention Month.

As stated by the Australian Physiotherapy Association, “Every 3 minutes, an older Australian is hospitalised because of a fall.”

Physiotherapy can help with strengthening & improving balance to prevent falls or improve your movement after a fall. This can includes evaluating balance, strength, gait, flexibility, and medical history.

If you or someone you know is concerned about falls, consulting a physiotherapist is a proactive step towards maintaining independence and preventing injuries.
