Recently I was asked the following question: "How does astrology apply to business?"

My answer? For women in business, predictive astrology is a useful decision making tool. It can help you see timing, direction and opportunity more clearly. A lot of people come to me when they are struggling to decide whether, or when, to make an important move, such as launching a marketing campaign, for example, or entering into a collaborative partnership. Through the lens of astrology, I can help you recognise opportunities you might not be able to see, understand whether the steps you are taking are aligned, and to know when it is time to act, and, sometimes, when it might be wiser to wait.

Today is Chinese New Year, a lunar beginning that reminds us that fresh starts don’t have to follow the Gregorian calendar.

What if your natural reset isn’t in January at all? What if it’s in April, or October, or whenever the Sun moves through your twelfth house?

Astrologically, we each have our own rhythm for beginnings and rest. Mine is in Scorpio season. For some, it’s Aries season. For others, it might be today.

If January came and went without the clarity you were promised, maybe nothing went wrong. Maybe your year is yet to begin.

Busted: Predictive astrology uses your birth chart as a living reference point. It looks at how current planetary movements are activating specific themes, challenges and opportunities in your life right now. It’s less about abstract symbolism and more about timing, choice and awareness.

Pluto is in Aquarius until 2043.

Many astrologers are framing this as a good thing: revolution, collective empowerment, the crumbling of oppressive structures.

But Pluto has never been a benevolent force. And Aquarius has never been sentimental about people as individuals.

When power moves through collectives, it doesn’t automatically mean freedom. It can just as easily mean conformity enforced by consensus, behaviour shaped by algorithms, or control outsourced to technology.

This week I was asked another great question.

How do you support clients who want to use predictive astrology without giving their power away to it?

My answer? My focus is on helping people recognise their strengths, develop confidence in their ability to make good decisions, to take action to achieve their goals, and see opportunities that are easy to miss when you’re too close to your own life. So there’s no “higher” or external power involved. The power is within you.

If you’ve been feeling the call to book a reading, take it as a sign not to leave it too long. My calendar is filling quickly and I’m now taking bookings for March.

A small heads up too, the price of readings will be increasing in the not-too-distant future, so it’s a good idea to lock in yours before that happens. That said, I never want money to be the reason you miss out on support or clarity when you’re genuinely seeking it. If finances are a concern, please reach out and we can talk about a payment arrangement.

I’d much rather find a way forward together than have your timing or curiosity go unanswered.

This week I was asked a couple of great questions.

How is predictive astrology different from regular astrology?

And what do I make of the astrology of this year, with so many planets changing signs and some truly unusual aspects in play?

Predictive astrology uses your birth chart as a living reference point. It looks at how current planetary movements are activating specific themes, challenges and possibilities in your life right now. It’s less about abstract symbolism and more about timing, choice and awareness.

And yes, the observation is spot on. The slow-moving outer planets are changing signs, or have only just done so. That signals meaningful shifts on a collective level. But if you have planets or angles in the early degrees of the signs, you’re likely feeling this energy personally, not as theory, but as lived experience. Predictive astrology can kelp you turn that experience into an opportunity.

I love it when people come to me with thoughtful questions. Curiosity is always the doorway.
