Come join me for a decadent candle lit evening of deep relaxation, self reflection journaling, breathwork, meditation, gentle restorative yoga, and healing cacao. Come as you are, no pre-requisites. You will be guided by myself, a trained yoga teacher, and passionate wellbeing coach, on a 2 hour journey as we pull back the layers of ego and self resistance so you can access your true authentic self. You will leave feeling a deep sense of restfulness, acceptance, self compassion, and connection.

Your projection (what's happening around you) is dependent on your perception (how YOU perceive the world). So by becoming more conscious of what our own mind and how it responds to the world we can therefore control our reactions and our internal environment AKA 'peace'.

Yoga is a journey of inner awareness. And this is where you come to do the work to culviate more awareness of your internal dialog and change how you respond to your world e.g. kids, work, partners, that angry person in traffic etc..

What are you doing today to nourish yourself?

Perhaps a delicious smoothie or fresh juice?

As the weather starts to warm up, now is a good time to dust off the blender and start creating little concoctions of goodness. One of our faves here at is "The mint Mango Delight".

Recipe:
1 cup drinking coconut milk
1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango
1/2 banana
1 handful of fresh mint
1 TBS chia seeds
1/2 cup of ice
Optional: 1 cup spinach

Blend and enjoy!

Did you know...

Hip mobility and instability issues are one of the leading causes of back pain. Whist your natural instinct may be to stretch your lower back in various ways to help with pain, which may provide some relief...but won't necessarily address the root cause.

Our classes here at Enliven focus on addressing the root cause of common issues instead of just stretching them out.

We interwine specific exercises into our classes for therapeutic purposes alongside the more common yoga poses to deliver a whole mind, body experience.

Bolster feels! 🥰

Did you know bolsters are a great tool to give you different variations in poses and are awesome for pregnancy, and restorative type yoga.

The only downside is they can be pretty pricey! BUT what if you could make your own bolster using things you already have in your own home!?

We're looking at holding a "Make Your Own Bolster" workshop followed by a restorative style yoga class where we can put it into practice.

It's not really about the pose, but what you learn about yourself while in the pose.

How do you talk to yourself?
What do you celebrate?
What could you work on?
Could you practice self compassion a little more?
Could you offer yourself a little more grace?
Is your ego trying to push you into a situation you're not ready for?
Why may your ego be so activated?
Do you feel safe?
Do you feel supported?

There are so many questions that you could ask yourself depending on what is going on for you.

We try to take the need to "perform" out of our classes, and direct your focus to a journey of inner awareness and finding self love and compassion for whatever stage you're at.

We try our hardest to keep our classes a mutual space where all religions, faiths, beliefs, and spiritually can come and practice yoga without doubt in their minds.

Yoga in the modern world has moulded itself into many shapes and forms from a deep spiritual practice, to a way to keep the body strong and fit. We like to slot our self somewhere in between.

To us, yoga is a practice of self acceptance and meeting yourself where you're at on your physical, mental, and spiritual journey. It is one that includes all people from all walks of life to help quieten the mind, calm the nervous system, and keep the physical body healthy. By doing this, you can connect deeper to yourself and whatever your beliefs are.

The word yoga in itself means "to yoke" or "to unite" and is not connected to any kind of God. We like to think that practicing yoga helps to unite our mind body and soul and bring us into a harmonious place of love, peace, and kindness for ourselves and the world around us.

I don't think much can compare to that brief moment between dusk and sunrise by the ocean. The new light of another day making its way over the horizon and expanse of ocean laid out infront of it. The delicate twinkles as the light bounce off the cool and fresh water waking the senses and indicating a new day, a new beginning is here. The fresh salty breeze brushes across your face while you soak it all in. Take a moment to be still and drink it all in.

So where you can, make your way to the beach and indulge in the senses of an embarking new day. Be present, leave your phone in the car/at home, take a moment to find stillness and quietness in the mind. Without straining, notice what you hear, see, and feel. Let nature enliven your mind and body and allow yourself to become completely immersed in this moment. Let it set the course of your day 💕
