π± Therapeutic Gardening at ACALS π±
Our Therapeutic Gardening and Horticulture Program is all about getting hands-on, learning new skills, and enjoying the benefits of nature together.
Recently, participants have been busy planting strawberries, growing garlic from a single clove, sowing lettuce and radishes, and planting cabbage seedlings. Everyone takes part in each step of the process β preparing the soil, planting, watering, caring for the crops, and watching them grow.
Itβs a wonderful way to build confidence, develop practical gardening skills, and connect with others while working as a team. Thereβs something truly rewarding about seeing something you planted grow and thrive. πΏ
Our program also encourages routine, responsibility, social connection, and healthy living β all within a relaxed, supportive environment.
At ACALS, we believe meaningful activities help people grow just as much as the plants do. π±
