🌸✨ A Big Thank You to Tanya! ✨🌸

This week marks an exciting milestone for HealthStays – the official submission of our Development Application to Maitland Council!

On behalf of the Board and Management Committee, we extend our deepest gratitude to Tanya Gurieff from Hunter Land, whose tireless dedication and countless hours of hard work brought us to this pivotal moment. 🙌

At our recent meeting this afternoon, Tanya was presented with flowers as a small token of appreciation for her incredible efforts. Her commitment and expertise have been instrumental in helping HealthStays move one step closer to making a real difference in the Maitland community. 💐💙

We also wish to sincerely thank the many other people, business professionals, and local businesses who have contributed their time, energy, and expertise to get us to this point. Your support means everything.

Tomorrows walk is at Medowie. We plan to car pool from the East Maitland Library at 8a, walk at Medowie and enjoy a coffee at the Macadamia Farm.

Our Guest Speaker this week on 27th March is Police Constable Jacob Klumpp who will give us an insight into his journey from primary school at Our Lady of Lourdes, Beresfield to NSW Police Force and a few things in between. Jacob has seen a lot, learnt a lot, and is still learning.

The club meets every Thursday morning at Maddies of Bolwarra, 35 Paterson Rr, Bolwarra, starting at 7.30am and finishing promptly at 8.30am.

We always welcome guests at club meetings – if you would like to come along and hear Jacob speak please contact Rod Megarrity on ph 0414 263114 or email rodmegarrity1@gmail.com. A choice of Hot Breakfast is available at a cost of $20 or $10 for Tea/Coffee & Toast.

“Tee up for a great cause! Calling all sponsors and teams!”

Join Rotary on 23 March at Easts Leisure and Golf to support the Maitland HealthStays Project in raising the vital funds needed to bring this much-needed facility to life. The project is expected to have DA approval in early 2025 and is closer to providing essential accommodation for outpatients and families attending Maitland Hospital and other medical providers nearby. Help is now needed to fund the bricks and mortar to make it happen!
