First and foremost i would like to say a big thankyou to everyone that helped me get set up, shared my page & shared all my comment posts I made on on page.
Really appreciate the support but unfortunately the dream hasn't come true on building a support group within the Hunter, Maitland & Newcastle region.

Unfortunately and sadly I'll be shut down for now.
Due to ongoing struggle to find participants and lack of community interest obtaining participants to sign up for my supports, services and activities I can no longer stay open as a sole trader.

I'll be moving to Mable under my Birth name for the meantime till I build clientele for 1on1 support and participants for group support, travel support & group activities services/support.

**My Experience**
I have extensive experience with younger children-adults of a wide range of needs, supporting and working with male clients aged between 18 to 60 years of age.
5 years in the disability and youth sector in Australia.
I have also done mentorship roles with PCYC learner driving program.
I have mainly worked along side people/children with ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviors, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, self harming or experiences mental health struggles.

**Outcomes**
I want to know what goals you have for the year and creating a plan to make steps of reaching these goals. I love seeing growth in my participants even if they are small steps. Im a person that will try my best and give it my all to help you!

Such a cool skate park.
Great to see the local councils invest in skateparks and areas for people to enjoy physical activity, fall in love with a sport and meet new people.

As a now consider old skater 🤣
I missed out on this living in Muswellbrook without a skate park growing up.
Been skating since I was 12 and absolutely feel in love with it.
Spent a lot of time growing a skate community in Muswellbrook and a lot of time at school to rallying for a skatepark in town and sport day to have a skate elective.

After multiple fundraising nights, raffles, news paper articles and help from pcyc and local police liaison officer, that I and two close mates made a dream come true.
Muswellbrook finally got a skatepark when I reach year 10.
Started with 3 skaters in year 7, then turning into at least 40 skaters, 30 BMX riders and 1 unicycle rider group by the time I hit year 10.
Unfortunately, I never got to ride it when freshly built as I moved to Newcastle but I was super proud that I and few mates made it happen bring people together to get a skatepark in town.

Who would love to spend a day at the skate park having a ride, meeting new people and cooking up a BBQ lunch ?

Public toilets are now open at the new Largs Skate Park in the oval amenities building 🚽✅

We've been able to retrofit existing assets to make these facilities available to the community daily, due to the site's increasing popularity 👏

In the long term, we will work towards installing newer toilets elsewhere on site.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently seeking work and have availability friday nights and almost every weekend.
Fri 6:00pm onwards and Weekends all day anytime.
I'm a sole trader business that holds all the required checks.

As experienced 32 year old male, I have over 4 years of experience in the disability sector.
During this time, I have supported a diverse range of clients from ages 10-67yrs old ensuring they meet their goals and live fulfilling lives.
I am available for community access, respite, and soical group services and any other services that they require.

Absolutely fantastic idea by Sydney to set this up allowing people watch the Paralympic Games live in Darling Harbour 👌👍

Only if I knew about this sooner.
Would of loved to bring a few participants along to event like this, while having a day out to grab a bite to eat.
Great way to learn travelling skills on public transport, build soical skills within the public and working amongst each in a group format making new friends 👍

Looking forward to the day having my first lot of participants signed up with Sona Support Services.
Cant wait to do day group programs like this cause nothing beats a beautiful day sitting near the water having lunch all while learning public transport skills and building social skills 👌

Hello everyone.

Excited to introduce myself and a new name to the disability support sector.
Sona Support Services.

I'm happy & excited to say that im now open and looking to build.
Looking to meet all the new participants that are looking for support & wanting to attend my social community access group.

I'm a independent support worker thats just opened up as sole trader.
I'm based in the NSW Hunter Valley Region servicing local areas, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens.

I've been working in the disability sector for almost 5 years now.
I've organised & ran many community access events, activities and group travel in my disability career.
I love what I do, what I have done and love seeing soical gowth & independent growth in my participants attending activities I've organised.

About myself
Im a 32 Year old male and a local to the NSW hunter Valley area for my whole life.
Anything with wheels and a engine is a huge interest and passion of mine, love my cars and being around them. Spent alot of time in my career & life operating machinery, driver training and circuit racing vehicles so always brings a smile to my face.
Also love getting out and about doing a bit of camping here and there along with a bit of 4x4 adventures.
Got a huge love for bringing people together in a public setting to build soical skills and independence along with making new friends in the process, i love a good activity and social outing.

My background is a bit of everything giving all things a go in life from being a vehicle panel be**er to working in the mines as a operator/trainer assessor and then to studying my Certificate 4 in disability while working in the disability sector for close to 5 years.

Had a beautiful Saturday last weekend putting together a office desk table for my participate that is in the process of moving out and into her own studio apartment.
Was an absolutely pleasure to help out around the studio to set up the new furniture, a lovely desk and great to see lovely young women working towards independent living.

Look forward to seeing a fully decorated table photo in the near future once the moving in and unpacking faze is complete 👍
