Hello everyone.
Excited to introduce myself and a new name to the disability support sector.
Sona Support Services.
I'm happy & excited to say that im now open and looking to build.
Looking to meet all the new participants that are looking for support & wanting to attend my social community access group.
I'm a independent support worker thats just opened up as sole trader.
I'm based in the NSW Hunter Valley Region servicing local areas, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens.
I've been working in the disability sector for almost 5 years now.
I've organised & ran many community access events, activities and group travel in my disability career.
I love what I do, what I have done and love seeing soical gowth & independent growth in my participants attending activities I've organised.
About myself
Im a 32 Year old male and a local to the NSW hunter Valley area for my whole life.
Anything with wheels and a engine is a huge interest and passion of mine, love my cars and being around them. Spent alot of time in my career & life operating machinery, driver training and circuit racing vehicles so always brings a smile to my face.
Also love getting out and about doing a bit of camping here and there along with a bit of 4x4 adventures.
Got a huge love for bringing people together in a public setting to build soical skills and independence along with making new friends in the process, i love a good activity and social outing.
My background is a bit of everything giving all things a go in life from being a vehicle panel be**er to working in the mines as a operator/trainer assessor and then to studying my Certificate 4 in disability while working in the disability sector for close to 5 years.
Experience
I have extensive experience with younger children-adults of a wide range of needs, supporting and working with male clients aged between 18 to 60 years of age.
5 years in the disability and youth sector in Australia.
I have also done mentorship roles with PCYC learner driving program.
I have mainly worked along side people/children with ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviors, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, self harming or experiences mental health struggles.

**Qualifications:**
- Certificate IV in disability
- First Aid & CPR
- Statement of Attainment Training & Assessing
- PCYC accredited driver learning instructor.
- Full Licence and Reliable Vehicle, full comp insured.
- NDIS Check
- WWC Check
- Police Check
- Insurances - Public Liability
- NDIS New Worker Orientation & NDIS modules completed.
Outcomes
I want to know what goals you have for the year and creating a plan to make steps of reaching these goals. I love seeing growth in my participants even if they are small steps. Im a person that will try my best and give it my all to help you!
