The 2026 Cessnock Local Government Area Seniors Festival is running from Monday, 2 March to Sunday, 15 March 2026! 🗓️
This fantastic event celebrates older adults and carers with dozens of free and engaging activities, including social gatherings, workshops, health and wellbeing sessions, history talks, clubs, and more. 👵🏽👴🏼

Whether you or someone you support is interested in meeting new people, trying something new, or learning about local services - there’s something for everyone. 💜

Today we celebrate the independence, freedom and opportunity that wheelchairs provide for so many people in our community.

At Hunter Ability Support, accessibility is more than a word - it’s part of how we operate every day. Our wheelchair-accessible vans play a vital role in supporting true community inclusion. They allow participants to attend appointments, social outings, activities and events safely and comfortably, without barriers.

Reliable, accessible transport means greater choice, more independence, and real connection to the community and that’s something we’re incredibly proud to provide.
