Bodywork as touch therapy
Non verbal language through relational intimacy with touch that we cant see
You can hold a person, a body, through the eyes, through presence, through breath, through touch…
The sense of feeling ‘dropped’ or not held, so we grip on. Sometimes we yield to gravity, other times we dance with gravity and the ‘empty’ spaces….
Then, the armouring dissolves through presence and support, trust starts to emerge, the clients dialogue starts to change internally, beliefs start to shift, a repatterning is taking place, anxiety starts to move, life not feeling supportive is challenged by this simple experience by physical support and touch
This is the bridge between body/mind, and experience.
