The idea that in these ‘modern’ times ideology and vested interests, as supposed to evidence based approaches, continues to dominate mainstream thinking in an area as important as human nutrition is hard to believe. A shame on ‘professionals’ who undermine advances in nutrition because of primal greed and fear. A credit to Noakes who was courageous enough to change his thinking when the evidence became clear. We are in debited to his tireless efforts to educate and shine a light on how our biology operates.
