Whether you use a wheelchair, push a pram, walk with a mobility aid or simply want a smoother, easier route, these new online mobility maps can help you plan outings with more confidence ๐
The maps show easier-to-navigate paths, potential hazards and accessible routes to key destinations. Developed by Briometrix, they combine specialist technology with on-the-ground assessments, including lived experience from wheelchair users.
๐บ๏ธ In Hervey Bay๐ Routes mapped at the Boat Harbour Marina, Esplanade paths to Point Vernon, Main Street and surrounding shopping precincts, extending to Eli Waters Shopping Centre.
๐บ๏ธ In Maryborough๐ Routes mapped from the Railway Station through the town centre to Richmond Street, along Lennox Street to Woodstock Street and out to Aldridge State High School.
