I am a Mum of two, a university qualified nutritionist, and chef. My work focuses primarily on supporting individuals with disabilities, helping them to improve their health literacy, build kitchen confidence and skills, and increasing accessibility to healthy and nutritious foods.

I offer a non-diet approach with my clients and encourage them to focus on their overall health and well-being, not restriction and/or weight loss. In a world where health and nutrition information is often confusing and overwhelming. I like to provide my clients with simplified, practical and evidenced based advice, whilst supporting them to learn the skills they need to navigate it all as independently as possible.

Preparing food together is nourishing for the mind, body, and soul. This nutrition week, we are encouraging you to connect in the kitchen. Whether it's with friends or family, cooking together is a great way to connect and learn.

Getting the kids in the kitchen helps them to learn and appreciate where their food comes from, whilst learning new skills and building confidence. It gives the children an opportunity to learn about different flavours, smells, textures, colours, and shapes. Food preparation and cooking are lifelong skills, and the memories made in the kitchen will be forever. And hey, I'm not saying it won't get messy, but it will be worth it. ๐Ÿซถ
