I’m really looking forward to stepping into these new morning classes and sharing this space with you all.

Reformer Flow has such a beautiful way of bringing strength and ease together — and there’s something special about that mid-morning time to move, breathe, and reset.
Whether you’re continuing your practice or just beginning, I can’t wait to see you there and support you along the way 🤍

We’re introducing not just one but two new 9am Reformer Flow classes to better support different routines, work patterns, and lifestyles.

These sessions follow our signature Flow format - steady, intentional movement designed to build strength, connection, and confidence over time.

Even more special, these classes will be led by Teresa, our wonderful instructor who many of you already know and love from Mat HQ. With over 26 years of experience across yoga, mat, and reformer, we’re so excited to have her teaching across both spaces.

As we draw this year to a close, my heart is full thinking about the many seasons we’ve shared together on the mat. Every class, every breath, every moment of connection has shaped a beautiful journey that I feel deeply grateful for.

Thank you for your trust, your dedication, your laughter, and the way you’ve shown up for yourselves and for our little community. These years together have been such a gift.

As we step into a new chapter, I’m excited for what the future will bring for us in Pilates and Yoga—more strength, more ease, more discovery, and more moments where we surprise ourselves with what’s possible. I can’t wait to continue growing with you, whether in person, online, or at our special retreats.

🌿 A Little Studio Moment to Share 🌿

🌿Your whole weekend… a retreat? Yes, please! 🌿

For our October retreat, you’ll have beautiful classes Friday night, Saturday morning & evening, and Sunday morning.

🌿But what about the bits in between?🌿
That’s where the magic can keep going — right at home.

Here are a few ideas to make your whole weekend feel like you’ve escaped:
💡 Switch your phone to silent (your group chat will survive).
🍵 Sip tea slowly — no rushing, no multitasking.
🌞 Sit outside and just… be.
📚 Read something that feeds your soul.
🕯 Light a candle before bed and let the day melt away.

Here’s a light breakfast bowl that feels special but is simple to make at home:

Retreat-Style Chia & Berry Breakfast Bowl

Serves 2

Ingredients

½ cup chia seeds

2 cups plant milk (almond, oat, or coconut)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1–2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

2 tbsp nut butter (almond, cashew, or peanut)

A sprinkle of granola, seeds, or coconut flakes

Method

In a bowl or jar, mix chia seeds, plant milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Stir well.

Refrigerate overnight (or at least 2–3 hours) until thick and pudding-like.

When ready to serve, divide into bowls.

Top with berries, a spoonful of nut butter, and sprinkle with granola/seeds/coconut.

Retreat touch: Decorate with edible flowers or a drizzle of tahini for that “wellness weekend” feeling.

🌿 Why NOT to go on a yoga retreat… and why you actually should! 🌿

We all know how easy it is to put off doing something good for ourselves. Here are the 5 most common excuses people have for not joining a retreat – and the real reasons why you should!

1. “I don’t have time.”
➡ That’s exactly why you need it. A retreat gives you the pause your mind and body are craving. Just one weekend can reset your energy and clarity.

2. “It feels selfish to take time for me.”
➡ Taking care of yourself is the opposite of selfish. When you’re rested and balanced, you show up better for your family, work, and friends.

3. “I’m not flexible/experienced enough.”
