We know this time of year, particularly in the lead up to 26 January, can be challenging for many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community.

Our centre will be closed on Monday 26 January for the public holiday, however support is still available. If you’re having a tough time, try to prioritise yourself and wellbeing, whether that’s by connecting to Country, reaching out to someone you trust, or simply taking a break from social media.

Visit the link in our bio for resources to help you feel more connected to culture this long weekend.

Or if you’re looking for immediate support, you can reach out to: 13 YARN on 13 92 76
Lifeline on 13 11 14
Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800
or in an emergency, always call 000.
We’ll be back open from 9:00am on Tuesday the 27th of January.

From Mardi Gras to Midsumma, LGBTQIA+ celebrations are underway across the country! 🏳️‍🌈

While it’s a great time to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ communities, it’s also an opportunity for allies to reflect on how to support the LGBTQIA+ people in our lives.

If you or someone you know needs support please reach out to your local headspace, eheadspace, lifeline or kids help line!
